Kia ora Kiriwai, I enjoyed reading your professional blog and update of your inquiry. I feel that those four students will benefit from learning the inference techniques to help improve their skills and ability in reading. I particularly liked the way you showed your evidence in 'no change' over a six month period which highlighted the need for you to change your focus question. Keep up the awesome mahi you're doing! Hi Kiriwai, thanks for sharing what you have. This reminds me of our PD with Helen Squires where we were trying to figure 'What next' after the running record. The detail of miscues etc that you have stated will be useful in your inquiry to figure out what's getting us 'stuck' in reading. Looking forward to your next updates Kiriwai.
